Stock Plastic Sheets
We stock a wide variety of sheet materials including, coloured Acrylic, Polycarbonate, ABS, Puckboard, HDPE, UHMW, and hollow tubing and solid tubing available.
- Acrylic – Also known as plexiglass or branch names like Plexiglas and Lucite, Acrylic is an ideal substitute or glass that requires excellent clarity and strength. Of all the plastic, Acrylic provides the best clarity for an extended amount of time. This is due to its resistance to scratches, abrasions, and yellowing. There is also protection against UV damage which helps for applications like advertising displays or picture framing. Please keep in mind that acrylic can crack and chip easy during installation due to how rigid it is.
- Abrasion Resistant Acrylic – All acrylic sheets are fairly abrasion resistant. This product is 40 times more resistant without losing optical clarity.
- Acrylic Mirror – This product is used for cosmetic displays, slat walls, dance studios, and even casinos. Other acrylic sheets available are colored acrylic, Block acrylic, Bullet Resistant Acrylic, and uv Filtering acrylic. - Polycarbonate – A very strong plastic at over 250 times stronger than glas and just as clear. Many applications for polycarbonate because of the strength are: Many applications are recreational vehicles, Store fronts, and anywhere that you need extremely impact resistant windows. - High-Density Polyethylene or HDPE – This product is used in items such as Hard Hats to water bottles. HDPE is one of the most widely recycled plastics, which means that it will do its job well and be transformed into something new when the work is done. HDPE has qualities from retaining stains, sustaining moisture or gaining unpleasant order over time. HDPE has incredible tensile strength and rigidity, placing it apart from other plastic types. HDPE also comes in several varieties available from Mac Plastics.
- ABS – This is one of the most widely used plastics on the market. Great for impact resistance, also used for heavy duty applications. ABS is available in a variety of finishes , thickness and even colors.
- UHMW – This is an extremely tough plastic with high abrasion and wear resistance. The versatility of this product makes it a popular plastic for Countless industrial applications that require durability, low friction and chemical resistance.
