Sunshine Bees

These units are called “Oxalic Vaporizers” and are manufactured by Sunshine Bees.
Varroa mites are a huge problem for bees and beekeepers worldwide and is one of the main reasons for the disappearance of bees. Although there are some chemical treatments for mites, the mites are becoming resistant to these products. Sunshine bees has designed and is manufacturing Oxalic Acid Vaporizers and has started marketing them North American wide. Oxalic Acid is a natural product and considered an organic treatment, found in carrots, rhubarb, many green leafy vegetables, etc. When vaporized at the correct temperature (below 190 degrees C) it acts as an irritant causing the bees to self clean and also destroys the mouth and legs of the mites.
